About the Washington Nationals

The Washington Nationals play in Nationals Park. There’s not a bad seat in the house nor a bad concession stand—their hot dogs are delicious. Attending a Nationals game is both an enjoyable and unforgettable experience.

Major League Baseball was played in the Nation’s Capital for most of the 20th century via two different franchises (now the Minnesota Twins and Texas Rangers). The current franchise in Washington D.C. started in 1969 in Canada as the Montreal Expos. They moved to D.C. in 2005.

Famous Nats over the years include Gary Carter, Andre Dawson, Pedro Martinez, and Bryce Harper. The Nationals are the only National League club that has never played in the World Series.
