TSO is a project of producer and composer Paul O'Neill. He founded the group in 1996.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra is a very unique band. They are famous for their Christmas music and for touring during the holidays. Yet their sound is part heavy metal, hard rock, and symphonic.
Their albums include Christmas Eve and Other Stories (1996), The Christmas Attic (1998), The Lost Christmas Eve (2004), and Dreams of Fireflies (On a Christmas Night) (2012).
TSO probably sells more concert tickets than they do albums and they’ve never opened for another artist nor has another artist ever opened for them. They’ve also never played at a club.
