Dawes is comprised of brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith. Taylor plays guitar and Griffin plays drums. They are joined by bassist Wylie Gelber and keyboardist Lee Pardini.

Dawes formed in 2009. They released their debut album, North Hills, later that year. Some of their most popular songs are “Things Happen,” “Time Spent in Los Angeles,” “A Little Bit of Everything,” and “All Your Favorite Bands.”
