Seeing Sam Hunt in concert is a real treat. His live shows are not only very entertaining, but they’re an opportunity to experience a true artist in his element.
Hunt sings and plays multiple instruments—guitar, banjo, and piano. Hunt performs with a tremendous amount of passion. He’s more than just a singer, he’s a storyteller.
Hunt was born Dec. 8, 1984 in Cedartown, Georgia. He was a football star in high school and played quarterback for Middle Tennessee State University and UAB.
In 2008, he tried out for the Kansas City Chiefs of the NFL but was unsuccessful. He then tried his hand at the music business and was very successful.
He began his career as a songwriter. For example, he wrote Kenny Chesney’s “Come Over,” Keith Urban’s “Cop Car,” and co-wrote Reba McEntire’s “Love Somebody.”
Hunt released his first studio album, Montevallo, in 2014. His first four number one country hits are “Leave the Night On,” “Take Your Time," "House party" and "Body Like A Back Road."
