Rebelution
Attending a Rebelution concert is so much more than just seeing a live show. That’s because the crowd at a Rebelution concert exudes a positive vibe.
Long before the band takes to the stage to perform “Bright Side of Life,” “Sky is the Limit,” and “Feelin Alright,” your mood, however bad it was when you entered, will improve. You can’t help but be happy hanging out at a Rebelution concert.
When the band does start playing, the good times go off the charts. Be ready to dance, grove, and sing along.
Even if you’re new to Rebelution, and aren’t very familiar with tracks like “Green to Black,” “Bump,” and “Lazy Afternoon,” you’ll find yourself immediately moving to their infectious reggae beats.
Fortunately, there are plenty of chances to catch Rebelution in concert. The band plays more than a 100 shows a year.
Rebelution formed in 2004 by five University of California, Santa Barbara students.
Today, the band is comprised of Rory Carey, Wesley Finley, Eric Rachmany, and Marley D. Williams. Founding member, Matt Velasquez, left shortly after the band released their first album, Courage to Grow, in 2007.
Rebelution’s other studio albums include Bright Side of Life (2009), Peace of Mind (2012), Count Me In (2014), Falling Into Place (2016), and In the Moment (2021).
